Golden Care offers support services for adults, ranging from residential based services, in-home respite, habilitation and attendant care, to specialized living arrangements, counseling, consulting, and employment/vocational support services.
This program provides a safe and warming environment for our members. Group homes operate like traditional family homes, with up to 5 adult residents. Services include day programs, outings, counseling, community events, exercising at a local gym and more. Our dedicated staff assist the members with all activities of daily living, such as transportation to medical appointments and other vital services. Services are provided to adults with developmental disabilities.
At Golden Heart Care, we truly believe everyone has the potential to achieve their goals that lead to progress in life! At GHC, with the right supports individuals with mental illness can overcome challenges such as psychotic symptoms, mood instability, substance abuse and aggressive behaviors to increase independence.
.
Through this program, Golden Heart Care provides valuable support to children and adults with disabilities in the convenience, safety and comfort of their own home. Services give much-needed relief for the primary caregivers and are essential in ensuring that members are able to remain in the home setting versus living in a long term care facility. Employees delivering care receive extensive classroom instruction and hands-on training in a living situation, in addition to member-specific training prior to placement in the family home.
