Carlos grew up around the special needs community my entire life. Carlos' oldest sister is diagnosed with down syndrome. Carlos was about 17 years old when he started to learn and educate myself with the special needs community and why my sister receives services and what the case workers jobs were, etc. The ultimate goal was for Carlos to have his mother work for him and his sister be under the company created by Carlos for the two to work together! since graduation from Apollo High school in 2011, Carlos spent each day education himself on how to start a business.
In 2015 Carlos left GoDaddy to work for a local provider that offers behavioral health residential services to adults. From there, Carlos basically spent every single day working for different providers to becoming a program manager for Aires LLC to then starting his own company in 2018, Golden Heart Care LLC. Throughout Carlos' career in residential/group home settings, he spent each day and every day learning and studying the field he was in.
In 2016., Carlos came up with the name of Golden Heart Care and purchased the name, and that is when the steps towards licensing his first home began.
In January of 2018, Carlos sold a vehicle to use those funds which funded the lease of Golden Heart Cares' first Behavioral Health Residential Facility (BHRF).
Since then, Carlos has continued spending every single day learning his members needs, staff needs, the communities needs and all! Carlos' sole goal is to provide the highest of quality services to each member we serve. Golden Heart Care aims to provide each member we serve services that will help guide towards independence.
Golden Heart Care has a vision to bridge the gap from Behavioral health residential housing to semi-independent living. GHC will soon offer housing for members who quality for semi-independent that is more affordable!
